I have many splendid things like My Family, My Friends, My Garden, and My
Jewelry Creations.
I have a Wonderful Husband that loves and honours me and 3 great kids that keep me runnin'.
Tyler is 11, Harleigh is 10 and Greg who is off at University is 18.
My Terrific Friends support me and listen when I need an ear, get crazy when we have the urge
or just to chill when we need to relax. Too many great things about too many of them to mention-but you know who you
are!
My Favourite Pastime in the Spring & Summer is playing in my Garden. We have a wonderful
yard that my Husband & I have transformed into a getaway(with a little help from the kids). We have a pond that
houses my Husband's pet Koi and many frogs and toads. Our yard gets many visits from all kinds of Birds and we even
have a colony of bunnies that live under a big Blue Spruce in our neighbors' yard. Even though we live in a small town
where you probably wouldn't think wild things would venture to- we have 'em! It's terrific!
My passion in the Fall & Winter and yes, throughout the year is my Jewelry Design Business.
I first started beading when I was a very young child and then like many kids-found other things to do or other trouble to
get into and didn't find myself back in to beading until I heard them calling me! No, I didn't really hear them but
I did have a real hunger to get my hands busy with my wonderful beads again! So, after making many gifts for friends
and family, and getting some great feedback and suggestions that I start my own business I created-Karen's Many Splendid Things.
